Adele Coleman

Health & Research Data Communications

Adele brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, research skills, administration management and broad customer service experience to the Plain Speaking Health team. Adele has gained varied experience working in community, hospital, and research settings over the past 12 years. As a former Administration Manager, Training and Development Manager in an allied health practice, as well as a prior history in customer service in airlines and tourism, Adele has developed exceptional skills in professional administration, training, and customer service.

Adele is also a qualified Speech Pathologist, working with a variety of patients, with a particular interest in speech following stroke. She has been a research officer in multiple large research projects in this area, as well as in head and neck cancer therapy, using digital tools and data to improve these clinics. Leveraging this expertise, Adele looks after Plain Speaking Health’s clinical data and patient experience platform Clinician Insights.

Adele’s ability to appreciate clients’ complex practice needs and to communicate processes and research findings in a clear and concise manner, combined with her warm and friendly personality, makes her an excellent advocate for clients seeking guidance on evidence-based approaches, support for research projects and incorporating patient reported data into clinic services. When she isn’t working hard to help clients and colleagues, you will find Adele cooking, gardening, and taking leisurely walks on the waterfront.
